Three of South Africa's most loved sparkling wines, gathered into one generous bundle. JC Le Roux is the name South Africans reach for when there's something to celebrate, and this trio of fruity, off-dry fizz makes an easy crowd-pleaser for parties, gifts, or a homesick friend missing the Cape. Chilled, poured, and gone before you know it.
Not for sale to persons under 18. Adult signature required on delivery.
We added this bundle because JC Le Roux is one of those names that means something to South Africans, and the three styles together cover every kind of celebration without overthinking it. It's been a steady favourite with our customers, and we understand why: it's joyful, approachable, and almost impossible to dislike. We'd point this at anyone hosting a crowd, anyone with a sweeter tooth, or anyone sending a nostalgic gift back home to the UK doorstep of a friend who grew up on it. Stock moves quickly on this one, so don't sit on it if you're tempted.
Three sparkling wines, one easy-drinking theme: bright, frothy and gently sweet. Expect a fine, persistent mousse carrying ripe strawberry and red cherry from the red, delicate rose petal and crushed berry from the rosé, and peach, pear and floral muscat lift from the white. Each finishes soft, fruity and off-dry rather than bone dry, with low alcohol keeping everything light on its feet. Uncomplicated in the best way: refreshing, sociable fizz that asks nothing of you but a cold glass.
Here's the thing about JC Le Roux: in South Africa, this is the bubbly that turns up at birthdays, anniversaries, and Sunday lunches that run long into the afternoon. It's not trying to be vintage Champagne. It's trying to make people smile, and it does that brilliantly. This bundle brings together three of the house's most popular styles, so you can pour something to suit every guest at the table. Expect lively, fruit-forward sparkling wine with a gentle sweetness that wins over almost everyone. Think ripe summer berries, a whisper of floral lift, and soft, frothy bubbles that make the first sip feel like a celebration. These are wines built for pleasure rather than ageing, so there's no waiting around: chill them well, somewhere around 6 to 8 degrees, and serve straight from the fridge or an ice bucket. They shine at the easy occasions. A garden gathering when the British summer finally behaves, a festive toast, brunch with something sweet, or simply a Friday that deserves a little fizz. They also pair happily with fresh fruit, pavlova, and creamy desserts. For anyone with South African roots, this is a proper taste of home, and it makes a thoughtful gift delivered straight to their door anywhere in the UK. One box, three bottles, plenty of reasons to open them.
This is celebration fizz, so lean into it. The white and rosé are lovely with afternoon tea: scones with clotted cream and jam, or a Victoria sponge. Pour the red alongside a bowl of fresh strawberries, a chocolate dessert, or a slice of Christmas pudding. All three handle mild spice well, making them a smart match for a fruity Thai curry or sweet-and-sour chicken.
No decanting needed. These are all about freshness and fizz, so open and pour straight away. A short rest in an ice bucket on the table keeps every glass crisp.
Drink these young. They are fresh, fruit-driven sparkling wines built for immediate enjoyment, not the cellar. Pop them within a year or two of buying, while the mousse is lively and the fruit is at its most vibrant. There is nothing to gain from waiting.
JC Le Roux
The House of J.C. Le Roux holds a special place in South African wine history. Founded in 1983, it was the country's first cellar devoted entirely to sparkling wine, a bold move at a time when most South African producers considered bubbles an afterthought. The name honours Jean le Roux, a French Huguenot viticulturist who planted vines in Stellenbosch around 1704, and that pioneering spirit runs through everything the house produces. Based in the Devon Valley just outside Stellenbosch, the cellar released South Africa's first Pinot Noir Méthode Cap Classique in 1985 and has been pushing boundaries ever since. Under cellar master Melanie van der Merwe, the range spans everything from serious Cap Classique to fun, fruit-driven sparklers like Le Domaine. It remains the country's leading dedicated sparkling wine house, the name South Africans reach for when there's something to celebrate.
